Product Description
8407 is a chromium, molybdenum and vanadium alloyed tool steel with high purity and microstructure obtained by special steelmaking techniques and close quality control. 8407 has better isotropy (isotropy) than conventional H13.

Daido steel DC53 is improved on the basis of SKD11, the hardness after heat treatment is higher than SKD11, high temperature (520-530℃) after tempering can reach 62-63HRC high hardness, in terms of strength than SKD11, toughness is twice as much as SKD11.
Toughness is more prominent in cold work die steel, therefore, few cracks and chipping occur with DC53 manufacturing, which greatly improves the service life.
The residual stress after wire cutting process is reduced by high temperature tempering, therefore, the cracking and deformation of large dies and dies requiring precision are suppressed after wire cutting process.
Cutting performance exceeds that of SDK11. DC53 has better cutting performance than SDK11, therefore, using DC53 can increase die life and reduce machining process.
